Bert was an old dear friend of my father Bob Grey. Although they may have lost touch sometimes they still were friends late in life. Bert came to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday six or so years ago and when my father was ill with cancer Bert visited him in the nursing home during his final days. True story, My father was very close to joining the Navy with Bert as a teen, but my grandmother said no. My mother June, my brother Dan and I send our thoughts and prayers to you. He was a good man.
RIP Bert, although I didn't have a lot of opportunity to work with you I know you were well respected by those who did. I rember that you always seemed to have a contagious smile.
