Condolences
Anne, Karen and Carl, I am sending my deepest sympathy. I think extremely highly of your mother and always appreciated the kindness she always showed me. One example of her thoughtfulness was the Christmas cards she sent me every year starting with my first Christmas as a married woman. I felt welcomed into the clan of the grown-ups by that. She included handwritten news that seemed directed just to me. She will be greatly missed. You are all in my heart and prayers.
Mom-
I keep thinking I have to go visit you today. And yesterday I thought that too. You have been such a vital part of my life now for many, many years, and I am a better person because of that- and everything you taught us and the loving patience you've shown us, your children- and all your much-extended family. You've shown active love and generosity to so many, and you were known so well for being a shoulder to cry on, a loving pair of arms to embrace, a thoughtful and calm voice for those in need to hear.
I'm so thankful you left us peacefully and with so much loving assistance and care. I'm grateful to all those who helped you on your many journeys in Life and in Death, and fully believe you are with us in Spirit as well as Memory, and expect to hug you again.
