Obituary of Lucille Irene Choinski

CHOINSKI - Lucille Irene (nee Forgette)

October 7, 1932 to October 31, 2019, she was 87 years old. Predeceased

by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Choinski; she is survived by her

children, Elizabeth (Stephen Threlkeld), Jeanne (John) McGuire, Amy (Michael)

Wynne, Thomas (Stephen Jewett) and William (Valerie) Choinski; and

her grandchildren, Craig, Anne and Catherine Threlkeld, Jack, Justin

and Jamie McGuire, Elizabeth, Brendan and Emily Wynne, and

Connor Choinski. Lucille was born in Pawtucket, RI and moved to Buffalo,

NY following her marriage to Jerry in 1955. She was a devoted housewife,

mother and grandmother. Later in life, she volunteered for the Variety

Club of Buffalo, raising funds for the Children’s Hospital. The family resided

on Dartwood Drive, in Cheektowaga, NY, from 1968 until the couple retired

to the Sunlake Estates Community, of Grand Island, FL, in 1990. Lucille

moved back to the Buffalo area following Jerry’s passing in 2017. The

family will be present to receive friends Friday, November 15th, from 5-7 PM,

at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main St., Williamsville. In

lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Variety Club of Buffalo,
