Condolences
I remember Joe as a friend and a very friendly and decent guy. As a young man I would watch my brother Tim and Joe and learn from them. Joe was always coming and going from our home on Orchard Place and it was not uncommon to see him sharing a coffee with my dad and mom. He was the quintessential "nice kid" from down the block. I think of Joe when I say my prayers at night. As my head hits the pillow I thank God for all the good things I do not deserve, yet have. I pray for Joe very often. It will be great to see him again when my time comes. May his soul find eternal peace. God bless my old friend Cindy and all the kids. We love Joe still.
To the family of Joe, I am very sorry for your loss. He will be deeply missed.
We are very sorry for your loss. We will always remember Joe because he was not only a great boss but a great person. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Cindy - I am at a loss as to what to say other than I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you and your family.

You will always be young in our minds and hearts, your smile will never fade. We'll miss your generous laugh and happy-go-lucky ways. The Billsville days of old live on in memories made. We are very sad today - our heartfelt sympathies for Cindy and all your loved ones. God bless you Joe!

My sincerest sympathy to Joe's family at this time of great loss. I always looked forward to Joe's visits to Central Hudson. He had a genuine concern for his crews and worked tirelessly to improve their focus on safety. I enjoyed our business relationship but also admired his ability to find time to spend with his family. He was proud of their accomplishments and cherished the time he spent with them. He will truly be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

It was my honor and pleasure to have known and worked with Joe over the past five years here at Central Hudson. Joe's professionalism, knowledge of the industry, and his optimism is what set him apart. He will always be remembered by those he touched throughout his life. My thoughts and prayers go out to Joe's family and friends during this difficult time.
It was a pleaseure to have been able to know and work with Joe here at Central Hudson Gas and Electric over the last few years. I will always remember his extreme professionalism, knowledge, and down to earth approach to doing his job.
It was always a pleasure and privilege to work with Joe for more than 20 years when I was with NYSEG. We always enjoyed comparing notes as our children grew up. He was immensely proud of his son and daughter and loved his family very much. I feel very fortunate to have reconnected with him this summer. He was a great person and will be sorely missed. He's left us all with many fond memories.
Dear Laura, Cindy & Joe, I have no words to ease the devastation you must all be feeling. My heart is broken for you all. What I know is that our Jesus knew what it was to mourn, and He is familiar with the pain of this life. Remember, Revelation 21:4 says "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Praying for your hearts and trusting that the Lord Himself will be your comfort. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Love Joelle
Cindy, Joe, Laura and family, I have the fondest childhood memories of all of you. My mom and I were just sharing some of them and smiling. Hearing about your sudden loss was devasting. My heart goes out to each of you during this difficult time. I have a great memory of your dad at my own wedding 4 years ago on the dance floor and I'm glad to have recently seen your dad last year. I love each you. God Bless. Carrie
Cindy~I am so sad for you and your family. From grammar school, drill team, high school and reunions...these are just a few of the many memories that will always be close to our hearts. May God comfort you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Joe was always a friendly face to see in the office and he’ll be deeply missed. Our hearts go out to Joe’s family, may you find comfort and peace.
I'll always remember Joe for being a great, friendly guy. My brother Tim was a close friend for many years, and we all knew Joe. He was unfailingly nice, spent time talking with mom and dad and treated me better than a lot of kids did. My most profound sympathies for all of his loved ones. He has gone on to a much better place, and will be waiting for you when you get there. God bless Joe, and all those who have passed before us.
Joe hired me at Lewis tree back in 1993. Over the years we gave him a nick name "Staddy Daddy", Because in a way he was our Daddy. He took care of us the best way he knew how, we did not always like it, but Joe knew what was best for us, just like a Daddy! We love you Joe, may you rest in eternal peace with God. All our sympathy, The Rowe Family.
I worked for Joe for 10 years at Lewis Tree until my accident forced my early retirement. Joe & I had different views at times but I respected his authority and respect him, personally, as a friend. He was especially considerate and kind to my wife during that trying time and she always speaks of that when his name is mentioned. Our sincerest sympathies to his wife, Cynthia, and his son, Joe Jr. (who I also worked with) and all his other family members. May God's Blessings help you through this time. Rest In Peace, Joe.
