Condolences
There are lots of memories of Mary Sue at SHERKSTON for me.
She was the mother of the beach and the first to help or police the offenders of rules.
If you were going too fast on the golf cart on the beach, you would hear her wail "SLOW DOWN"!
She was always helping with the events we ran on the beach like the golfcart rally or the dice run.
Innumerable pass a dish picnics would always see her helping to set up and clean up.
My personal memory is when I needed a ride for my carpal tunnel surgeries. There was no ask. There was only "what time do you need me to pick you up"!
"No problem!"
Lora so sorry for your loss. You and ur extended family will be in our prayers. May she Rest in Peace.
Rest in Peace Mary Sue, the good times we all spent raising our families in Kenmore will never be forgotten! Quite a few of the neighbors we hung with have also passed over the past few years. We miss you all!

I wish Mary Sue’s family the strongest prayers at this sad time. Only the fondest memories of her and the boys when I was growing up. My only skating teacher and beloved family friend. Truly sorry for your loss.
When M.S. was very young I was her "Nanny" one summer. As a princess, she needed to have a bath every morning. While drying her off after her morning bath one day I made the mistake of dropping a complete container of baby powder on her little self! It seemed really funny to me and I couldn't stop laughing and then she started to laugh. That was a big relief to me because as "The Princess" of the family, I would have been in bigtime trouble. I don't know if she remembered that little incident but I sure did! She gave us lots to laugh about from a very tender age, I miss her!!
God Speed, Mary Sue.
Mary Sue was an amazing woman & the best friend anyone could wish for. She will be deeply missed by all who know her.
As a past president of the Buffalo Skating Club, Mary Sue was one of the reasons that I took the position with her help. I, my wife a Donna and our daughter Erica (a student of Mary Sue) will miss Mary Sue. God Bless her soul.
Mary Sue always brought great joy to everyone around her. She had a heart of gold that will never be forgotten; touching so many peoples lives in her journey. I loved going to the rink and seeing her in the office. Mary Sue use to call me Grace and my two younger brothers the rink rats, that is one thing we will remember forever. Mary Sue used to come down from the office and talk to my mom in the monitor box. Then she would say Grace let me see your program or she’d say I want to see your axel. Memories like that we will cherish forever. Mary Sue will be in our thoughts and prayers always!

To all of Mary Sue's Family and Friends .. I wish you Peace in this time of great loss. Mary Sue's loss has broken my spirit. MS and I spent many hours searching along the shores of Lake Erie, looking for beach glass and washed up treasures that she turned into jewelry and artwork. This picture of MS was taken by me on one of our journeys into Canada when she sold her "Home" in Sherkston. MS was a true devoted friend, always smiling and bringing good news and help to so many people. Her work with the ice skating clubs and individuals will be remembered for years and years. Her love of life, the beach, treasures, dogs and people will stand out in many people's minds. If you knew Mary Sue you were dealt a blessing by God ... to know one of the finer people on this Earth. Mary Sue, I will miss you, till the day we meet again .. My great Friend, treasure-seeker and confidant ... I will love You and miss You always. Peace be with YOU ... my Little Lady ..........
May God hold you in His hand and comfort you with His everlasting love .Day by Day, the precious memories of Mary Sue will fill your heart. The love you shared will help to ease your pain.
This is sad news, I am so sorry for the family's loss. Mary Sue had such a big personality for such a small frame. What a wonderful picture, it is so her. At the beach, tan, and that big, big smile. Sherkston will miss her presence.
We shared so many memories with the Buffalo Curling club, skating club at Nichols, and summer skating in Canada. She was also a great friend all through high school. My condolences to her family during this tough time. Mary Sue will be truly missed.
