Condolences
Sad to see you go buddy. Regards to Laurie and the rest of the family. Great person and tremendous bass player. You will be missed. -Your Drummer Masood
Jim was a cherrished colleague of mine while i worked at Daemen College. We had meetings 2-3 times a day for different events around campus and walked outside together a lot. I always looked forward to our daily meetings, especially on busier days because he always greeted me with a big smile and a positive outlook. Jim was so personable and easy to talk to, not to mention a great worker. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends & family.
Please accept my deepest condolensces for the loss of Jim. I only knew him for the past couple years but I will never forget him. He was always kind and always willing to give the best advice he could If i was having a rough day. Not to mention he was also an amazing bass player! I will miss him dearly.
Uncle Joe, my sweet cousins, Laurie, Cat and Jimmy, I'm so heartbroken for your loss of Jim. He was a bright light in our family and his presence will be sorely missed. Even tho we didn't see one another often, I love each one of you so much, we are always family and I hurt for this great loss. I love you and I'm praying for all of you. I wish I could be there. Having surgery next week, it's just not possible. I am there in spirit...
Much love!

Thank you so much for making my mother one of the happiest people I've seen in a long time. I'll never forget the conversation that we had weeks before your passing. It truly humbled me. I'm still in shock over all of this really, and wish that we could have done more for you. To the family, I am truly sorry for your loss at this delicate time. To my brother and sister...You always have a brother in me and are welcome at any time. Just call me. Mom I love you, and he will always be with you. This amazing man truly loved you more than you'll ever know. Trust me he told me so.
I remember when Jim first started at Daemen - we had only slide and overhead projectors then and a nun who ran the office under very strict rules. What a difference Jim made with his willingness to help - both effectively and with a genuine smile. As our technology progressed, his willingness to help never faltered and his unfailing good spirits was always a bright spot in my day. Whenever I had trouble with any equipment I knew I could just ask Jim and he would fix it.
I am so sad he is gone. He was a good man and I am glad I had the chance to know him.
He will be sorely missed at Daemen.
Jim was a cherished colleague and a friend to so many. in the VPA, Jim was always helpful, cheerful and kind. I'll miss him on campus very much. One thing I will always remember is how fiercely he loved his daughter, a student in our department. I am grateful to have known him.
R.I P my friend you will be missed. Graduations won’t be the same without you. See you on the other side.
Dear Bachraty family and friends,
I am so sorry for the loss of you son, husband and father.
It was an honor to know James, He was always friendly,
and easy to talk to in the hall. He always had the time to
share his knowledge on technology. He will be greatly
missed at Daemen College.
Sincerely,
Mark Brown, Ph.D. Department of Education
Jim was a thoughtful, kind, funny, and friendly person whom I fondly remember from my time working at Daemen College. I was shocked and so sad to read of his passing. My sincere condolences to Jim's family, friends and colleagues.
Jim was a dear, dear colleague. A true professional, Jim was so kind, so helpful and so great to work with. He will be missed and remembered by many in the Daemen family. My deepest sympathy to Catherine and her brother on the loss of their father.
Jim was one of the nicest and most helpful people you would ever want to meet. I enjoyed our 20 plus years at Daemen College. While MusicalFare didn't necessarily interact with Jim's department on a regular basis, whenever we did he was a joy to be around. He will be terribly missed.
My band mate, my musical collaborator and most of all, my best friend. Some of the most enjoyable time I have spent in my life was with you, whether just talking as friends or jaming music in the basement. You will remain in my memories from here on my friend.
Will miss you Uncle Jim..have some great memories of you at Grandma and Grandpa's.
Fellow 1982 WSHS graduate and close friend of John, my brother, you have a place in my mind as someone who was affable and helped to make the stage shows at South a success! Condolences to your family.
Jim was a great man and his presence is already greatly missed on the Daemen campus. He was a guy who would give you the shirt off his back. I wish there were more people like Jim in the world.
