Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Novato, CA, on August 3, 2012, formerly of Buffalo, NY, beloved husband of Paula Louise Grosse of Novato, CA; loving son of the late Philip G. and Ethel Lee Helffenstein; dear brother of Curt P. (Marti) Helffenstein of Pittsburgh, PA; brother-in-law of Philip (Sherry) and Fred (Jane) Grosse; also survived by loving nephews, nieces and friends. The family will be present to receive friends Wednesday, 6-8 PM at BEACHTUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main St. (at Cayuga Rd.), Williamsville, where a remembrance and sharing of Kip's life will follow at 8 o'clock.
