This goes with the photo I posted.
I worked with Roger at Copeland in the '80's and from time to time after he retired. After I moved to upstate I had the opportunity to visit occasionally to visit or for lunch. He was a brilliant engineer, a good friend, and had an irrepressible sense of humor. I took this photo in the lab in 1986 where he was horsing around with a device he was testing. He was pretending it was some sort of weird musical instrument he was playing. He tried to keep a straight face but you can see how that worked out. I will miss him. Thank you, Roger.
