Condolences
Dr Pavel and family
I'm very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Having lost my mom and dad last year, I only know how hard it is to see our parents pass
May the memories you share fill your heart with joy at this sad time.
Dear Chris, Jim, and Bob,
Your Mom was a very special lady. There are so many wonderful memories of her yhat I cherish. She was more than a friend to many. She was always there to give support, lend a hand and have a great time. Perhaps her career as a teacher will always be a crowning achievement in her legacy. She was a true teacher. She guided, inspired, and was so respected by students and fellow teachers. Most of all, you all were her pride and joy. She loved you all so much and cherished her grandchildren. She will be so missed. Her smile, her wit, her stories, her caring and as always her fantastic recipes.
My deepest sympathy to all of you. You all are the greatest legacy of all.
Love,Sheila
Mrs. Pavel......I have too many great memories of you as a kid...you were practically my second Mom....Jimmy and Bobby were my best friends and I will never forget all of the shared family events we ..well...shared together...
On the note of sharing.....I think I can share a secret that Mrs. Pavel and I had all these years....
There was one morning years ago when I was in 7th grade when I missed the bus to school....I had tried smoking cigarettes for the first time at the bustop....I had a few more hidden behind our house and got them only to return to the bus stop after the bus had left...panic set in...Mom and Dad weren't home and I would be in major trouble that day if I missed school..because of SMOKING!....I went to the Pavel house wreaking of cigarettes....and begged Mrs. P. to take me to school.....she knew what I had done.....she never breathed a word about it to my parents and I didn't try smoking until many years later.....
The point I am trying to make is that Maryann understood where my mind was at and why I did that....she did give me a stern look, but her compassion and understanding won over that day....
I love you Maryann.....Way too many other memories to go into....ggD
To Christina, Bob, and Jim....my heartfelt condolences....your Mom was there when both of my parents passed....drove from Buffalo in a snow storm in 2011, when my Mom passed, two hours away..I will be there with you in spirit tomorrow morning.....just as each of our parents will be....
Peace, Maryann.....you definitely left a mark on my
heart.....
LOVE,
Stephen
