POPE - Ivy H. (nee Payne) July 7, 2016, age 95, beloved wife of the late Clinton F. Pope; dearest mother of Gail (Carlton) Steward, Gary (Darlene) Pope, Karen (late Fred) Gregg Sr., Sharon (Charles) Kilborn, Carol Pope, Howard (Kimberly), Richard and John (Amy) Pope; cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; devoted sister of Doris (late Charles) Hewitt, Violet Robson and the late Ernie, George (Carol) Payne and Margaret Wilber; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends Sunday from 1-4 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME INC., 5541 Main St. (at Cayuga Rd). A Memorial Service will take place on Monday morning at 10:30 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Eagle at N. Ellicott St., Williamsville, NY. Ivy was a long time and very active member of St. Paul's Church, a member of the Amherst Home Bureau, Rebekah Lodge and a Lutheran Church Home volunteer, where she eventually resided. She was an avid reader, bingo player and known for her sly, quick wit.
