Condolences
My deepest sympathy to the family,
Dr. Riek was genuinely a very kind, sweet, and thoughtful man. I had the pleasure of speaking and meeting him several times, I am an employee at Voss Dental Lab. I remember he would surprise the laboratory with pizza occasionally. He always had a smile on his face, as well as brought smiles to our faces. When he retired due to illness we were saddened. We wanted to visit him but we didn't know where he was staying, I am sorry we did not get the chance. I thought of him out of the blue several days ago and then Wednesday I heard that he passed :( He will be missed, sending prayers God bless him and his family

RIP dear Dr Riek, you were the kindest and most wonderful dentist in the world! God Bless
I have very found memories of Dr. Riek he is the only dentist that I was not afraid to go to and still feel that way today. I will always remember his quick quips back and his generous smile. May his family find comfort in being together during this time and remember the lifetime that was built with him. He gave his children a great example as a father and a husband to live by. Love to all of you
Our family joins you in remembering a truly wonderful man and friend.
Dr. Riek was such a warm, gentle, interesting and interested person. Always one to find a kind word to say about someone... Always with a smile and a sense of humor to brighten the day...
He's in our hearts forever....
Dear Elaine, Ken and all the Riek family members. My prayers and condolences are with you during your time of loss. I remember Bob as being such a congenial and caring man. May he rest in peace with The Lord.
To the immediate family,
Dr Robert Riek as I knew him when I was 15 years old I came to look up to and respect very much. At the tender age of 18 years old I received my first Riek lecture and will never forget it. Then at the age of 28 years old I was given the privilege of calling him Dad as the best father in law anyone could ever ask for. Throughout the years he graced our home with his jovial presence and his wonderful wealth of knowledge. This will stay with me forever. My own parents were very good friends long before I knew Dad that's how deep the bloodlines go. I am also very privileged to say our daughter Jenn carries on his lineage. It is a sad day that Dad is gone now, I know everyone will miss him but it is time Dad brought laughter to the heavens. I will always love you Dad you were the Best father in law ever! Kathy Riek
Bob, you were a fun loving person and we have many grand memories with you and Elaine. Love Carrie & Joe Musca
I remember the first time we had dinner at your new house on Chaumont. I was dating Jeff and the Cree's and Riek's all pooled our food and went over to your house. We ended up chasing baby bunnies in the house that Jingles brought home. Bob and I were in the fireplace trying to get one out. He was one in a million and we have been blessed to know such a man. His legacy continues with your 4 kids and their families. Each one of them has the laughter gene that Bob had. He always had a joke, even when he was so sick, he tried to make everyone laugh. I love you all and share your sadness.
Love Marge & Jeff Cree
Dear Elaine and family,
It is with sadness that we learned of Bob's death on Paul's Facebook page. He will be remembered fondly by his patients, friends and family. He was devoted to his family. We go back to the times in Indian Guides when Bob, Barry and their sons had great times together. Bob will be missed!
Love,
Barry and Jean
Elaine and family,
Bob was such a great man, full of wit, love and fabulous stories and jokes. We are so blessed to have known Bob. He left a happy spot on our hearts. He will be surely missed.
With all of our love,

Elaine, I am so very sorry for your loss. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.
Dr Riek was my dentist for close to 20 yrs. He had always been so nice to his patients. He tried to remember things about your family and would ask. He also spoke some of his kids and grands. I am so sorry for your loss.
Our hearts go out to you, Elaine, and your family at Bob's passing. Our friendship goes back to the days of Indian Guides and has grown over 45 years. Lots of wonderful experiences we shared will remain in our memory. We will miss Bob, but knowing that he is in a better place with suffering behind him is a blessing. Requiscant in pace old buddy.
Our love to you Elaine and our best to your family.
