Dotterweich - Elizabeth "Betty" Known as "Goody" to family, children, and those who knew her well, passed into Eternity on June 30, 2011, to join her deceased husband, George J. Dotterweich, Jr. She is the beloved mother of five children; Caroline "Bunny" (Robert C.) Leighton Patricia (David) Thuman, George A. (Maureen) Dotterweich, Rosemary (Larry) Hinshaw and the late Christine (Eugene) Benzino. devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Always with a warm smile for everyone, she was an accomplished artist, needle artist, quilter, ceramicist, and painter. She enjoyed giving her many works to those she loved, and unselfishly taught those who had an interest in creating. She cherished and held her family close to her heart and the Arts were her joy. A long time member of St. Benedict's Rosary & Altar Society, she also was a secretary at Smallwood Elementary School. A private family Mass honoring her life will be celebrated at the Newman Center, UB Campus, by Msgr. J. Patrick Keleher. Memorials may be made to Hospice in her name.
