We want to extend our condolences to all of the Avery family. The Cole family knew Mr. Avery for over 60 years, starting when our Mom and Dad moved to Rinewalt street. The Averys and Coles have been close friends ever since. We have the fondest memories of Mr. Avery as a friend, mentor, neighbor, town benefactor, and inspiration as a WWII warrior, and raconteur. He always greeted us with a new, funny story. We have such fond memories of him enlivening the neighborhood parties, parades, Lion's Club flag plantings, and more. Mr. Avery will always have a special place in our hearts.
