Condolences
So many of you share this memory of my father being the first in line at almost all the buffets he ever attended. I remember the times when we went and were going to be called by table he would often ask the hostess which table was going first...too funny. There were times when we could not be first and it did aggravate him, but my Father never allowed much to bother him for long, he was happy once he had his food.
He always had a smile and kindness for everyone and my family and I appreciate the support of all who have attended his memorial service.
Dear Carol and Family, I am so sorry to learn of Charlie's passing. I am on vacation in Florida and someone sent me an email. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure I feel, as anyone who knew Charlie, the loss of a great friend. I cannot think of a mean act or word ever commited by him. I will always remember his smile and huge hand shake. Charlie always looked after me at work and made sure no one ever abused or mistreated me. I am so fortunate to have had such a powerful guardian. Love and prayers, Chris
I met Charlie when I was 18years old when he was bar-tending at the Tudor Lounge. He had such a exciting personality. I always had a great time when he was working. I later became a Buffalo Police Officer and had the pleasure of working with him on many occasions. Although I am 20 years younger than Charlie, he was always welcome in my circle of friends. Why, because he was always one of the boys. Charlie your wit and humor, will be sorely missed. God Bless.
What great memories I have of Uncle Charlie. He made everyone laugh and always played with us kids. I remember my grandpa telling me that if I am ever in trouble, I should say that my Uncle is police officer Charlie Martha! He lived a great life and will certainly be missed. Our condolences to his wonderful wife, children, and grandchildren.
Uncle Charlie: Always trying to get me to eat more (and cry less)! You will be missed for your ability to chuckle at almost anything. My family: We are grateful for the way he touched our lives. The fact that he helped raise such a wonderful family is testament to the great life that he lived. All our sympathy ~ Darci, Rick & Katie
