STEPHENS - Catherine A. (Blocher) February 14, 2011. Wife of the late Lane Stephens Sr.; mother of Carol (Lester) Sisson, Kathy (David) LaPoma, Mary (Tony) Scapillato, Michael, James (Louann), David (Sandy), Richard and the late Lane Jr. (Peggy), Patrick and Robert (Deborah) Stephens; also survived by 33 grandchildren, and 50 great-grandchildren. The family will be present to receive friends Thursday from 5-8 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main St. (at Cayuga Rd.), Williamsville. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Gregory the Great Church (Please assemble at church). Catherine was devoted to her family and 10 children. She loved homemaking, gardening and needlework. She was employed by Millard Fillmore Hospital for several years until her retirement at age 67. Since then she had continued with her hobbies and love for her family.
