January 30, 2012, brother of the late Edna (late John) Rapp and Robert (Margaret) Haenszel; uncle of Diane (Ken) Thurlow, Ellen (Ward) Kalbfleisch, Robert, Roger and Brian Haenszel and Helen Berger; also survived by great-nieces and nephews.
