We will truly miss Bill and send our sincere condolences to Julia and his wonderful daughters. Bill was a devout Husband, Father, Grandfather and Catholic who I am honored to know and love dearly. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed, however, he will also be celebrated and admired for years to come as our memories are filled with joy and love.

When Bill was on leave from the Navy he went hunting and decided to climb a tree to get a better vantage point. When he got up in the tree the whole tree fell down with him in it. He told me that he didn't realize that the tree was dead. (It was Winter and all the leaves were down.) He broke a leg and when reporting back to the Navy, he was sent to the Naval hospital in South Philadelphia. During recovery time my mother had him come to our house for dinner on Sundays. Bill would travel on public transportation with his leg in a cast and hobbling on crutches. At that time he was about 19 or 20 years old and I was almost 9 years younger so we did not have a whole lot in common but I vividly remember those Sundays when Bill came to our house. Jim Mc Nulty

Julia, I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Thanks for letting me know. When you both did not attend Irene's memorial I suspected that something was wrong with one of you. I did not know Bill well but I have nothing of fond memories of him. I am almost 9 years younger than him and we lived about 200 miles apart so we did not see each other often. I have a little story that I'll put in the story section. We will not be attending services for him. Lil and I send our sincere condolences. I will let my sisters Regina and Mary know. DEAR CAROL,I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR FATHER.I CAME TO VISIT YOU A COUPLE TIMES THIS WEEK AND YOU WERE NOT THERE. I KIND OF SENSED SOMTHING. I AM HERE FOR YOU IF YOU NEED ANYTHING OR JUST WANT TO TALK. YOUR GOOD FRIEND JOHN LAMONTE.
