Condolences
Dear Claudia and family,
We were deeply saddened to hear about Al's passing. Our families go back to Sherwin Dr, when Jodi was our first babysitter. Then we followed you to Maricrest Dr, only four houses apart. Al and Mike would chat about golf and Eric, Rhoda and friends spent many summer evenings on our front porch. What great memories of Al and your family!
While the following years separated us, our thoughts and prayers for your family never left.
May God bless Al and your family.
Karen and Mike
We are so sorry to hear about Al’s passing. He was one of the best, nicest people people I knew. To talk to Al was to get cheered. I think about him often and smile. God bless you all, and God bless Al . Sam and Barb
Dear Claudia and Family, Carol and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our old and dear friend Alphe. Alphe and I spent eight years as schoolmates at St.Nicholas School and were close friends throughout our teens and into young adulthood. We shared many friends and I have fond memories of the many days we all played cards and penny ante "In Between", with Al and his brother Tom, at 308 Dodge St. Alphe's Parents were wonderful people and we always felt welcome in their home. While we have grown apart as the years have separated us. we remained as kindred spirits from the old neighborhood, treasured boyhood friends.
And so, my old friend. God has claimed you as His own. and we are saddened that you are no longer with us. May God be good to you!

To all the Fries families: so sorry for your loss. We have so
many wonderful memories of you all from Sherwin Dr. Linda loved babysitting for all the kids, and we even had
Tim stay at our house. Remember giving you our pool, and walking your sod back to our house. Alphe was such a
special guy and know all the wonderful memories will give you comfort. Love to all, Brad, Joy, Linda & Laurie Fuller
Claudia praying for your comfort knowing he is home with his Heavenly Father. I know your heart is still broken.
I worked with Al many years ago at the bank.Nice guy who was a pleasure to work with. May the memories you have comfort you during this time.
Rene, We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
How sad to learn of Alphe's passing. I worked with Al in the 1970's at Buffalo Savings Bank in the fledgling Data Processing Department. We were a small team of Programmer's compared to todays standards and I fear there's now only a couple of us left. I remember Al as possessing a quieting calm and professionalism in all the projects to which he was assigned. He was especially proud of the Safe Deposit Box System he designed and programmed. I also know he truly loved and cherished his wife Claudia and their children. Both I, and my wife Barbara, offer Al's family our sincerest sympathy in this time of sorrow and know Al is going to watch over them and help them as he can. I trust they will hold him and his memory in their hearts. May God bless you all. I hope to see Alphe again some day and re-live old times.
Tim, Karen, Hannah, Patrick, and family-
Our sincere sympathies on your loss. May your many happy memories bring you comfort and peace.
With love,
Laura and family
Dear Claudia and Family,
We are very saddened to learn of Al’s passing. We have many fond memories of Al and you from Willow Ridge and Golden Pond. Al was a great guy and we saw first hand how difficult the last few years have been for you both. You are blessed to have had so many years together and to share such a beautiful family.
Even though we are far away, please be assured of our love, hugs and prayers across the miles.
