SWANSON - Marion (nee Grega) February 14, 2015, peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late James Swanson; sister of Dorothy Scholl and the late John, William Grega, Margaret Faes and Kathleen Grega; survived by many loving nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 9:30 in Ss. Peter & Paul Church, Williamsville. Marion was a graduate of Buffalo General School of Nursing and received a Master's degree in nursing from UB. She worked as a RN at Olean General Hospital and Veterans Administration Hospital, Buffalo, NY. Marion was the first Vice-President of Nursing at Buffalo General Hospital, retiring in 1995 as Director of Quality Services. She was an active member in Ss. Peter & Paul Church. Memorials may be made in Marion's name to a charity of your choice.
