KITSON - James T. March 9, 1944 - December 23, 2014. Age 70, of Rockport, MA, formerly of East Aurora, NY and Orlando, FL, passed away on December 23, 2014 at the Den Mar Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Kitson was born on March 9, 1944 in Buffalo, NY and lived in East Aurora, NY until he was 16. He moved with his parents, James Herbert Kitson and Elizabeth Edwards Kitson (both deceased), to Orlando, FL, where he worked at Quest, Inc., an organization which provides employment for people with disabilities. When he became seriously ill in 2007 James retired and moved to Rockport, MA to be closer to his sister, Gaynelle Kitson Weiss and her family. James was a gentle man who loved his family, and he was interested in the lives, families, and pets of those around him. He was an avid lover of books, brochures and pamphlets. He also enjoyed simple pleasures - sitting on the patio, riding in the car, or eating a Western omelet. In addition to his sister, James is survived by his brother-in-law, Paul F. Weiss, whom he dearly loved. He is also survived by two nieces Donna Weiss Coakley (Union Bridge, MD) and her husband, Rev. David Coakley, and Gretchen Weiss Osterhout (Ashland, MA) and her husband, Mr. Gary Osterhout. James's nephew, Paul Kitson McCahon Weiss, predeceased him. James is also survived by one grandnephew and four grand-nieces: Benjamin, Bethany and Rebecca Weiss; Alyssa Liverette (and her husband, Daniel Liverette), and Heidi Osterhout, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.His extended family at the Den Mar Health and Rehabilitation Center also mourn his death and celebrate his life. A Memorial Service is scheduled at the BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main Street (at Cayuga Rd) Williamsville, NY on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
