HASLINGER - Edward J. October 30, 2014, age 96, of Amherst, NY, survived by his wife of 69 years, Rose D. (Hoak) Haslinger; loving father of William J. (Patricia), John E. Esq. (late Catherine), Joseph A. (Cheryl) Haslinger and Anne Marie (Robert) Derrett; grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of eight; dear brother of Mildred (late Louis) Tiedeman, the late Paul (Mary) and Martin (Jane) Haslinger. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main Street (at Cayuga Rd.) Williamsville. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday morning at 9:30 in S.S. Peter & Paul Church (Williamsville). Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Mr. Haslinger was a WWII veteran and a retired City of Buffalo Firefighter.
