Marabella, Norma Marjorie (Huber) Spencer, 92, died peacefully in her Charleston, WV home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 21, 2013, after a long illness. She was born in Williamsville, NY on August 25, 1921, the youngest girl of 12 Huber children. Norma was the matriarch and a cornerstone of her family, who lovingly knew her as "Nana" or "Aunt Mitzi." She was the last of the Huber children and is preceded in death by her husband, Sherwood M. Spencer, Sr. and son, Skip Spencer, both of Charleston, WV. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon and son-in-law Gary of Charleston, WV; daughter, Virginia Tompkins of Williamsburg, VA; son Sherwood "Spence" of Wilcox, AZ; and daughter-in-law, Jo Brooks, of Charleston, WV. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and countless great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends whose lives are better for having known her. Heléne M. (Huber) Marabella passed away on February 16, 2014, after an extended illness. Heléne was born in Williamsville, NY on March 8, 1949. She was the beloved wife of James F. Marabella and the loving mother of two daughters: Erika Marabella, wife of Todd Lewandowski, of Williamsville, NY, and Jessica Marabella, partner of Jay Clewis, of Cazenovia, NY. She is also the cherished grandmother of Jacob Lewandowski. Heléne is also survived by her sister, Maryann Alvarez, nieces, a nephew, cousins and her devoted dog, Sabrina.
