Father Bill - you have a legacy that no one can match, St. Vincent will always be special because of you
Dear Alicia & Members of The Tuyn Family, We were so sorry to hear of Fr Bill's passing. I even remember when he went to Rome & his ordination! Your parents and your entire family were so proud of him! St Paul's & Kenmore had their first celebrity! Take care-Know that you are all in our thoughts & prayers at this time! Sincerely, Allen & Marcia Kester
We wish we could be there, and we are so sorry to not be able to. We remember all the (very early memories)Tuyn gatherings at the seminary, many baptisms (Timmy and Jonny included), weddings (mine and Steve's included), spaghetti dinners and chicken bbq' in Jamestown, kazoos and flaming plum pudding at Christmas, your ski trips out to Colorado. We will miss you Uncle Bill/Great Uncle Bill
We at St. John's Church in Jamestown, NY remember Fr. Tuyn fondly. He served as long term Pastor of our church. While in Jamestown he was a leader in promoting ecumenism. He was among the initial be-ginners of our citywide St. Susan's Kitchen for those in need. His ser- vices to those ill and hospitalized were outstanding. Please know that we are with you in heart and spirit at this difficult time. F.T.D'Angelo

Father Bill was a remarkable man and a great priest at St Vincent's. His knowledge of Theology was amazing and he always awed me with his wisdom. He was loved by all of his parishioners. I was blessed to have taught religious education for him for 15 years. He will truly be missed. May he rest in peace.
Fr. Tuyn was a caring, kind and thoughtful man and represented what a priest should be. His tenure at St. Vincent's parish made for a very pleasant experience. We send our condolences.
I am so sorry for your loss. Father Bill was a very humble and loving man of God. I truly enjoyed golfing with him and my dad. He always made others feel important and cared for us individually. I am grateful to have known him.
Fr. Bill was such a sweet, gentle and caring man. He may not have had "all the answers" but if one needed someone to listen he was always available. We've missed him so much since the closing of our parish and we will miss him always. Knowing he is no longer in pain and is now in Christ's arms in Heaven is so comforting in our loss. To all Fr. Bill's family, friends and anyone whose life he has touched, our condolences. We know he is now resting in peace. Love Always, Joan & Dave Przystal
I had the privilege of working Fr. Bill Tuyn when I was pastor of the First Church of Evans from 1991-96. He was one of the finest ecumenical colleagues I had the privilege of knowing. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends. Pastor John Van Haneghan St.James Lutheran Church Phillipsburg, NJ
