ROY,I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR MOM. YOU HAVE BEEN HER CARETAKER FOR SO MANY YEARS.PEOPLE HAVE SAID THAT HER EYES ALWAYS LOOKED TO YOU FOR SECURITY AND TO ANSWER FOR HER WHEN SHE WAS UNABLE TO.THE AGE OF 105 IS A TESTAMENT TO THE CONSISTENT QUALITY OF CARE YOU PROVIDED.
IN THE 60'S,LEONA WAS A GRACIOUS HOSTESS TO HER CHILDREN'S FRIENDS AS WE SWAM IN HER LAKE AND PLAYED FOOTBALL ON THE LAWN. A GREAT COOK,HER KITCHEN TABLE WAS THE PLACE TO BE. MY LAST MEMORIES ARE OF A PETITE,SWEET LADY WITH BRIGHT BLUE EYES.HER NODS OF AFFIRMATION WHEN YOU STROKED HER LONG BEAUTIFUL WHITE HAIR OR POLISHED HER NAILS,WILL STAY WITH ME FOREVER.I AM SO PRIVILEDGED TO HAVE BEEN HER FRIEND...I WISH WE COULD HAVE VISITED ONE LAST TIME
