PLANT - Joanne B. (nee Swanson) Went to be with her Lord on July 10, 2013, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Williamsville; loving wife of 54 years to C. Arthur Plant; devoted mother of Gregory, Gary (Sharon) Plant and Cheryl (Adam) Frey; cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Matthew; beloved sister of Linda (Rick) Stadler, Robert (Patty) and William (Peggy) Swanson; dear sister-in-law of Warren (Kathy) Plant of Fort Meyers, FL. Also Survived by special friends Chris Pepper, Cyndi Wobig and Norm Cook. The family will be present to receive friends Monday 4-8 PM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (68 Eagle Street, Williamsville) where a funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30. Mrs. Plant was born March 16,1940 in Buffalo, NY and moved to The Villages in 2005 from Williamsville (Buffalo) NY. She was a member of both the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Wildwood, Florida as well as St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williamsville. She was a homemaker and had co-founded the Red Sox Nation in The Villages, which is now the largest Red Sox Club in the world. She was involved in many areas of her church included the Rockettes at the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church.
