Richard K. Welte
1934 - 2019
Condolences
My life was greatly enriched by having the good fortune to knowing Dick Welte. He is a role model for kindness, generosity, humor, and sophistication. He is greatly missed, and my thoughts are with my dear friends in the Welte Family.
I was sorry to learn of your father's passing. As a very distant relative (son of June & Lee Miles, Dick's cousin) I just learned of it through a friend.
I have many good memories of your Dad and Mom. They were the "younger ones" at family gatherings - full of energy and kindness.
Your Dad was very generous with his time during my teen years. He met and listened to my concerns, offering words of wisdom and encouragement that helped me make good decisions about my path through life.
I am thankful to have had him in my life. My thoughts are with you as you grieve his loss. Peace and love, Scott Miles
Deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear Dad. For those of us at Calvary for fifty years or so, your mom and dad were an important part of the fabric that was and is the church community. His dedicated service as warden vestryman and surely other capacities too numerous to mention will long stand as an example of his devotion to Calvary and his willingness to serve.. For those of us who were there during the "variety show " years will remember his leadership as having fun while we worked to get the job done. He was an example for all of us and he will be sorely missed. It was a blessing to have shared the road with him.
I am very sorry to read of the loss of your loved one. Although grief is natural, there is reason for hope. I pray this message brings comfort to you and your family. Please accept my condolences and may the “God of all comfort” be with you at this time. 2 Cor. 1:3, 4. https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=share&prefer=content&applanguage=E&locale=en&item=pub-imv_4_VIDEO&docid=1011214
