Obituary of John O. Spragge

SPRAGGE - John O. “Bud”
October 2, 2018, beloved husband of the late Joan C. (Kummer)
Spragge; loving father of John E. Spragge, Susan (Chuck) Reedy,
Thomas R. (Judi) and Andrew M. (Karen) Spragge; cherished
grandfather of Alex and Taylor (Taylor) Spragge, Erin (Christopher) Scherer,
Mar and Luke Spragge and Eleanor (Luke) Reynolds; devoted great-grandfather
of Ivy and Fiona Scherer, Clementine Spragge and Vera Lee
Reynolds; dear brother of the late William (Mary) Spragge; also survived
by nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at the convenience
of the family. Bud graduated from Kenmore High School in 1949, was a
Korean War Air Force Veteran 1951-1955, and graduated from Erie County
Technical Institute in 1957. He retired from the Union Carbide Linde Division in
Tonawanda after 34 years in the Mechanical Engineering Research and
Development Department. Bud will be greatly missed.
