Sorry to hear of the passing of my childhood friend Gene. I'm one of the Kryder clan who lived just down Milton St, across from Calvary Episcopal Church where my dad was rector. Gene was always game to accompany me to go-cart races in Batavia and Avon NY as my 'pit crew' back in the late '60s. Before then, we'd race slot cars at Grell's toy store. One summer ('69 or '70) he visited my family and me at our lake-house in Parry Sound, Ontario. And one constant all the way through--his guitar enthusiasm. Lots of fun times he and I had. Please know my prayers and thoughts are with all of you, his family.
