Ms.Hurricane Helen will live forever in my heart!

I'm very sorry John and family for your loss of your Mom.

When I would visit her in Florida and when she had enough of my funny stupidness..she would tell me "shut up you ASSHOLE"

She was right I was provoking her, but I knew I was her favorite asshole!

I use to love the back and forth between us as she sat on the front porch cigarette in one hand and the Manhatten in the other.

I cherish those moments.

They don't make ladies like that anymore!

I have a lot of fond memories of your mom. It did (as you say) usually involve raising a glass with her. She spoke her mind and you always knew where you stood with her, and that's what I liked about her. She always had a smile for me when I saw her. RIP to you Helen !!
